The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ryanair, the largest low fares airline company in Europe, has announced a new route to London (Stansted) from Brno to be launched by the end of March 2005. The newcomer will create about 100 jobs and enhance competition in the Czech air transport market. The Irish company has started since 16 February, to provide a special offer of 5 thousands free of charge flight tickets for the months of April and May 2005. People will pay only airport and other taxes which amount to 460 CZK for a one-way ticket. The standard price of a one-way ticket will be at least 20 euros (600 CZK) including taxes.
