Description
Slovenská pošta, the Slovak post company, is willing to improve its competitiveness by combining traditional post services with modern information technologies. In order to reach this goal, internal restructuring will likely hit all categories of employees in all regions. Company management also plans to reduce as much as possible the number of lossmaking regional service units. The goal of the management is to make a profit of 254 million SKK in 2005, to increase average wages by 900 SKK and to reach a wage level of 15,000 SKK per month.
