The furniture manufacturer José Dias Carneiro — Jodicar, announced its closure due to the debts accumulated towards the Finance Ministry and the Social Security. The closure will affect 100 workers.

The 100 workers of the company demand the payment of wages for the five last months. Jodicar is established in Portugal since 1924.
