European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dafgårds, which manufactures and distributes frozen and chilled products, will cut 160 jobs in Källby. The reason for this decision is the productivity improvement and the reduced need of personal resources. According to the HR manager, Bengt Olsson, 104 laid-off workers could be offered a part-time job within the plan, which is expected to be achieved in May 2005.
