Description

The toy manufacturer Lego, which in October 2004 announced a serious economic crisis, has planned to relocate part of the production in Billund, Denmark, to Kladno in the Czech Republic. In this regard, at least 100 employees will be dismissed from the main Lego factory in Billund, although Lego would not reveal how many will be redundant and when the relocation will take place. Lego already owns a factory in Kladno. 2,700 employees are employed in Billund, hereof 1,600 in production.
