European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In the frame of Polish National Railways (PKP) long restructuring process, which includes the reorganization of regional rail services, PKP Cargo, Polish State Railway Cargo, had to reduce operating costs and employment in 2004, due to sustained loss of 67 million zlotys in 2003 and a large drop in number of rail passengers.
