Description

German management of the American group Colgate has made propositions to shed some 100 jobs in Germany, of which 50 in Hamburg and 50 in the all country. Most of the employees could work for subcontractors but for a lower salary. Colgate-Palmolive had announced recently its intention to reduce its worldwide workforce (37,000) by 12 percent in order to face the competition.
