European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Phoenix, the automotive components manufacturer had already announced a restructuring plan involving the suppression of some 700 jobs at its site in Hamburg-Harburg. Now it is said that the number will be "under 900". Some 350 jobs will be transferred on other production sites of Continental, mostly in Germany.
