European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ålö, which produces loaders and implements for tractors, will terminate 40 temporary contracts and lay off 155 workers at its plant in Umeå, where 400 people are currently employed. The redundancy plan will also lead to the lay-off of 40 workers at the plant owned by the company in Bergsjö.
