Description
The Sanofi-Aventis Group, the worlds 3rd largest pharmaceutical company, has announced its intention to cut 331 medical representatives positions around France. This announcement comes as the first restructuring measure in the country since the Sanofi-Synthélabo-Aventis merger in August. The programme doesnt notify which specific divisions will be affected. Early retirement measures will be first taken as more than 10% of the employees are over 55. Unions are currently worried about the next measures to be announced.
