Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The French subsidiary of the German Group Hager (manufacturer of electric appliances) will invest € 8 million in a new 3,000 m² unit based in Obernai. 100 extra jobs are to be created and added to the 2,000 employees of the subsidiary. In 2002, 461 jobs had been shed following an internal restructuring.
