European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
One hundred people are to lose their jobs at Swindon Borough Council.
The decision to cut jobs has been made after a three month consultation on how to reduce costs.
It follows a Government directive to reduce Council Tax rises. All 8,000 employees were sent letters this week informing them of the move.
