Description
Around 100 employees will be made redundant when the textile factory Trevira Neckelmann moves its production of FZ yarn to Guben, in the former DDR, where wages are 25% lower and energy 20% cheaper. The Trevira Group was bought in June 2004 by the Indian group Reliance Industries. Employees hope that Reliance Industries will create new jobs in the dye works of Silkeborg.
