Description
DHL will shed 1,700 in Belgium in 2008. In 2008, the nocturnal activity of the Brussels Airport will decrease by 50%. Hence, the airport, instead of becoming an ‘international hub', will be downgraded to ‘regional platform'. This new status implies the downsizing of the workforce. Unions are strongly protesting against this decision.
