Description

Embraco Slovakia , which produces compressors for domestic refrigerators in Spišská Nová Ves, increased the production by 70% in 2004. All of 2.4 million units produced from January till August 2004 were sold. However, the seasonal decrease of demand for such products caused the reduction of production in the company. Only employees with fixed-term contracts and in probation period were hit by temporary dismissal.
