Thomsonfly, a new low cost airline, started operations in March at Coventry Airport. In the first year of operation 200 direct jobs were forecast with many other indirect jobs to be added in the locality. Now the low-fare airline, run by the holiday company, has announced further plans to operate from Bournemouth airport from next year. Thomsonfly.com will fly from Bournemouth in March to a range of destinations in mainland Europe. The move will help create more than 60 additional jobs.
