Description
The Pozmeat meat processing plant from Poznań has filed for bankruptcy (with a liquidation option) with the courts. Pozmeat has justified this move in reference to its difficult financial situation, aggravated by the rise in livestock prices following Poland's accession to the European Union. As a result, some 300 people may lose their jobs.
