European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Philips Eclairage will shed 98 jobs at its lighting equipment production site of Pont-à-Mousson (Meurthe-et-Moselle) employing 475. The production will be transferred in Pabianic (Poland) where Philips counts more than 1.500 employees. There will be no direct dismissals, but 54 voluntary departures, 42 retirement measures and 2 internal moves.
