Description
The American company Vishay is closing down its site in Colmar, producing diodes. The market shifting towards the east, the prices have fallen in the past few years. The production site of Colmar was in competition with two other factories within Vishay, one in Hungary, one in China. Internal move measures will be proposed to 40 employees. A special reconversion unit has been set up by Vishay to develop new activities on the site.
