Description
Deutsche Bahn AG will cut up to 1,500 jobs by the end of 2005 at its railway design unit DB ProjektBau GmbH due to reduced subsidies from the German government. Some 500-600 jobs will go this year, while 850-900 will be shed next year, although Deutsche Bahn will try to find new positions within the group for those affected.
