Description

Sony-BMG, the company formed through the merger of the music activities of Japanese consumer electronics group Sony and German media group Bertelsmann, is planning to cut 175 jobs in Berlin at the former headquarters of Sony Music Germany. Around 120 jobs will be lost and 52 more are to be offered a transfer. The merged company will count between 300 and 350 employees in Germany (470 at present).
