European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Skanska will cut 160 workers in Stockholm, among whom 135 currently working on the consctruction of the Årstabron bridge. The director of the road and facility branch in Stockholm, Pär Olsson, declared that the reason for the plan was the weakness of the facility construction branch in Stockholm. The implementation of the redundancy plan will start at the end of the year and will be completed during the summer 2005, when the Årstabron bridge is finished.
