Description
The Dutch consortium MEI Beheer, Het Tsjechie en Slowakije Fonds N.V. and entrepreneur Petrus Hermannus Maria Winkelman achieved in summer the majority share ownership in Biotika in Slovenská Lupča, which is one of the most important pharmaceutical company in Slovakia. The owners decided for further staff reductions in the company. Before the end of 2004 about 200 employees are planned to be dismissed, 130 of whom have already left the company.
