Description
The reduction of orders from the military to the Mesko metal processing facilities has induced a programme to reduce production costs. To this end, employment at Mesko will be reduced by some 100 people by the end of 2004 (down from the present 1,500). Mesko manufactures artillery ordnance, hand arms ammunition, detonators, and an assortment of commercial machines and tools.
