European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Expert Polimers is specialised in the production of components for motor vehicles. The company has presented a job reduction plan that will affect at least 37 experienced workers out of the 117 labour of its plant in L'Arboc del Penedés (Tarragona province, Catalonien, Spain). The company has argued major losses to justify the measure. Labour representatives say the company has the intention of producing with low wages. The measure could lead to the closure of the plant.
