Description

Facom, manufacturer of tools, will close two of its 16 European factories: Villeneuve-le-Roi, in France, employing 208, and Hoffenburg, in Germany, employing 73. Management said that the cost of the workforce in France and Germany was too high: 38 times more than China, and twice as much as the USA.
