Description

The German company Gabor will close its plant in Trofa. The measure will affect 200 workers, who will be dismissed through termination of contract by mutual agreement. Unions consider it another case of delocalisation to countries where the workforce is cheaper (Slovakia). Gabor is installed in Portugal (Trofa and Barcelos) since 1988. It employs 1,550 people in the country.
