Description
Symbian, the software company, has stepped up its ambitions to dominate the market for operating systems in mobile handsets with the announcement that it was hiring another 300 staff. This is in response to the introduction of its operating system into the more popular mid-tier handsets rather than, as before, being restricted to up-market ones.
