European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
BBC is aiming to reduce its operating expenses by a third next year. That target would involve more than £ 100 million of cutbacks. The corporation hopes to save £ 20-30 million a year by outsourcing its technology division and transferring some 1,400 staff to new employers.
