Description
The planned incorporation of Polfa Tarchomin, a pharmaceuticals manufacturer, within the Polski Holding Farmaceutyczny group will result in a restructuring plan devised to reduce the company's costs. To this end, Polfa Tarchomin has been selling off some of its assets. Another component of the restructuring plan involves the reducing of the companyÂ’s workforce, from 2,100 to 1,900 (i.e. 200 redundancies) by the end of 2004.
