Description
As Bloemenveiling Aalsmeer is not expecting any increase in sales in 2004, 100 jobs out of the 2,000 strong workforce will disappear during the course of 2004. In addition to this structural adjustment, mainly of support services, a one-off package of cost-reduction measures will also be put into action. The Works Council and the unions have been informed, as compulsory redundancies are inevitable.
