The glass producer Orrefors Kosta Boda plans to close its plant in Hovmantorp, which employs 140 people. Half of the workers will be offered a new job within other branches of the company. The CEO said that the production costs were too high whereas the sales volume was too low and added that the company was still in dire financial straits despite its reorganisation efforts.
