Walser, Austrian producer of carpets for motor vehicles, decided for a Greenfield investment in Horná Pôtoň, which is located in the area where the P.S.A. Peugeot Citroen is building its new car production unit. The company’s director Hans-Karl Walser informed that the investment of about 1.5 million euros will allow a production of 100,000 car carpets per year by autumn 2004. The new unit will employ 100 employees and will also serve as a distribution centre for the markets in the central EU Member States.
