European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Arcelor has announced a job reduction programme on the PAB unit near Strasbourg affecting 80% of the workforce (122 dismissals). The measure is due the the transfer of the orders to the 'Haironville' unit (Meuse). Trade unions believe that the unit will soon close down.
