The Royal National Institute of the Blind is making 100 people redundant to help plug a £6.2 million gap in its finance. In addition, it is doing away with 50 currently vacant positions. In total, the charity will cut 5% of its workforce of 3,000.

15-12-2003: the charity is set to make up to 40 staff redundant in the wake of a reorganisation of its community fundraising department.
