Description

Alstom is experiencing a restructuring programme all over Europe. In April 2003, management in the UK announced a 450 job cut at the Rugby, Whetstone and Knutsford units. On 23 June 2003, a second 1,000 job cut was announced for the Washwood Heath unit.
