Description
Subsidiary of Vivendi Universal (Canal+), Canal Numedia is in charge of several internet portals, such as Canalplusfr, iTelevisionfr, etc. The group announced the closure of the company affecting therefore the 67 employees. Following trade unions, 47 employees should be directly dismissed and 20 employees should be transfered to another company of the group, i.e.: Atos Origin. The measure is due to a strategic reorientation of Vivendi Universal concerning its internet activities.
