The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
British Airways announcement of the loss of 400 call centre jobs means that the number of staff employed in its UK call centre operation has fallen from 2,300 in 2001 to 1,400 today. The latest closures will save BA more than £10m over the next five years.
