European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Post Denmark expects to close three out of five distribution centres west of Storebælt by the summer 2005. The main reason is the extented use of e-mail on the cost of slow-mail letters. 100 employees will leave for natural reasons, and the 500 others will be offered jobs at other centres.
