Description

Alcatel Space announced a restructuring affecting 850 jobs. This plan is part of the global restructuring plan of Alcatel. 350 jobs will be dismissed in France. Alcatel Space Denmark and Norway will close down by the end of 2003. And Alcatel Space Switzerland should be sold soon.

The new restructuring is due to the overall degradation of the telecommunication market and to the huge offer in the sector worldwide.
