European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
France Télécom, the French historical telecommunications company, has initiated a worldwide restructuring programme that will affect 13,000 workers worldwide. They are distributed as follows: 7,500 in France, 4,100 at TP in Poland, 600 at Orange in Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark and UK, 200 at Wanadoo in Belgium, 600 in other units such as EQUANT.
