European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Nutreco had already announced in March 2002 its intention to start an efficiency and costs cutting programm. CEO W. Dekker explained on tuesday 25 of February 2003, that this plan had suppressed some 400 jobs in Spain, Netherlands, Norway and Chili. Further reorganisation should occurr in 2003 in Norway, Netherlands and France.
