Description
Insolvency. At least 2/3 of the 3630 employees that were occupied at the end of june will disapear. A social plan is foreseen for 1760 persons, within 3 months they will loose their job. Only 1800 persons will continue their activity and if there are no new investor until september, one third of these jobs will disappear. EADS European Aeronautic, Defense & Space Company plans to engage 400 former workers of Fairchild for the Airbus programme (announced on the 5th of July by one of the managers).
