European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The MAN Group is one of Europe's leading suppliers of capital goods and systems in the fields of commercial vehicle construction, mechanical and plant engineering. Worldwide, MAN has 76,000 employees (77606 employees Annual report 2001). First announcement 6000 job losses until the end of 2002, then 1000 more until the end of 2003.
