European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
After the insolvency of Brandt, Elektra bregenz was sold to the Arcelik Group (Turkey). Arcelik decided to relocated the production on other sites of the group, in the meantime the headquarter for Austria will move from Schwaz to Vienna. There will be a social plan affecting 187 employees of the Elektra Bregenz (production) and 27 of the Elektra Bregenz AG (sales).
