European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Cable & Wireless, second UK telecoms operator, is considering cutting as many as 1,000 more jobs in the UK, on top of the 1,500 already announced last year. The group, after having sold its US arm, is also considering selling its Japanese activities.
