European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The management would like to avoid direct dismissals and count on natural bearing of personnel, nonrenewals of temporary contracts, early retirements and outplacement measures. The group decided in September 2003 to close at the end of the year its engineering departmentlocated at Louvain-la-Neuve which employed 75 persons.
