Description
LEGO employ 8,000 people worldwide. On March 15, the company's owner, Mr Kirk Kristiansen, announced the redundancy of about 500 employees worldwide. One third of these will take place in Denmark at the headquarters in Billund. A first round of redundancies (257) already took place there in January 2003. As soon as April, 170 employees will be dismissed, hereof 100 in Denmark. The other job cuts will occur before 2006.
