Description
Terken, the largest independent French brewery, has gone bankrupt and will close within 3 weeks, putting its 117 employees out of a job. It employed 395 employees in 2000. In 2001, it had already filed for bankruptcy and was taken over by Covinor, with the loss of 180 employees. The workers of the factory are considering to launch a worker's producer's cooperative.
