European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Instinet, subsidiary of Reuters, a US-based brokerage agency, announced a restructuring plan affecting 15% of its total workforce, i.e. 185 jobs worldwide by the end of 2004. The measure aims at reducing costs.
